حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، وَعَفَّانُ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ عَفَّانُ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ، عَنِ مُرَّةَ الْهَمْدَانِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " عَجِبَ رَبُّنَا عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنْ رَجُلَيْنِ: رَجُلٍ ثَارَ عَنْ وِطَائِهِ وَلِحَافِهِ، مِنْ بَيْنِ أَهْلِهِ وَحَيِّهِ (١) إِلَى صَلَاتِهِ، فَيَقُولُ رَبُّنَا: أَيَا مَلَائِكَتِي، انْظُرُوا إِلَى عَبْدِي، ثَارَ مِنْ فِرَاشِهِ، ، وَوِطَائِهِ، وَمِنْ بَيْنِ حَيِّهِ وَأَهْلِهِ إِلَى صَلَاتِهِ، رَغْبَةً فِيمَا عِنْدِي، وَشَفَقَةً مِمَّا عِنْدِي، وَرَجُلٍ غَزَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، فَانْهَزَمُوا، فَعَلِمَ مَا عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْفِرَارِ، وَمَا لَهُ فِي الرُّجُوعِ، فَرَجَعَ حَتَّى أُهْرِيقَ دَمُهُ، رَغْبَةً فِيمَا عِنْدِي، وَشَفَقَةً مِمَّا عِنْدِي، فَيَقُولُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لِمَلَائِكَتِهِ: انْظُرُوا إِلَى عَبْدِي، رَجَعَ رَغْبَةً فِيمَا عِنْدِي، وَرَهْبَةً مِمَّا عِنْدِي، حَتَّى أُهَرِيقَ دَمُهُ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that: ‘Abdullah said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) taught us the prayer: he said takbeer and raised his hands, then he bowed and put his hands together and placed therm between his knees. News of that reached Sa’d and he said: My brother has spoken the truth; we used to that, then we were commanded to do this, and he took hold of his knees (with his hands).
