حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ، ، عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، فِي قَوْلِهِ: {مَا كَذَبَ الْفُؤَادُ مَا رَأَى} [النجم: ١١] ، قَالَ: " رَأَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جِبْرِيلَ فِي حُلَّةٍ مِنْ رَفْرَفٍ، قَدْ مَلَأَ مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) that he said:
The Prophet (ﷺ) halted in some place and went to relieve himself. Then he came and found that a man had set fire to an ant colony, either on the ground or in a tree. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Which of you did this?" One of the people said: I did, O Messenger of Allah. He said: "Put it out, put it out.”
