Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، عَنْ شَرِيكٍ، عَنْ ثُوَيْرِ (١) بْنِ أَبِي فَاخِتَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: " لَبَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، حَتَّى رَمَى جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that ‘Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) said:
We regarded verses (of Qur'an) at the time of the Prophet (ﷺ) as blessings, but you regard them as a cause of alarm.
