Original Arabic
سَمِعْتُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ زَيْدَ بْنَ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ:، ، سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّكُمْ سَتَرَوْنَ بَعْدِي أَثَرَةً، وَأُمُورًا تُنْكِرُونَهَا "، قَالَ: قُلْنَا: وَمَا تَأْمُرُنَا؟ قَالَ: " أَدُّوا إِلَيْهِمْ حَقَّهُمْ، وَسَلُوا اللهَ حَقَّكُمْ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that 'Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to disapprove of us staying up after 'Isha'.
