حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ مُرَّةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ:، ، قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ: " أُوتِيَ نَبِيُّكُمْ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَفَاتِيحَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ غَيْرَ خَمْسٍ: {إِنَّ اللهَ عِنْدَهُ عِلْمُ السَّاعَةِ، وَيُنَزِّلُ الْغَيْثَ، وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِي الْأَرْحَامِ، وَمَا تَدْرِي نَفْسٌ مَاذَا تَكْسِبُ غَدًا، وَمَا تَدْرِي نَفْسٌ بِأَيِّ أَرْضٍ تَمُوتُ إِنَّ اللهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌ} [لقمان: ٣٤] " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn Mas'ood (رضي الله عنه) that
The Prophet (ﷺ) prostrated in (Soorat) an-Najm and the Muslims prostrated, except one man of Quraish who took a handful of dust and raised it to his forehead and prostrated on it. "Abdullah said: And later on I saw him slain as a kafir.
