Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنِي زُبَيْدٌ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: " لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ ضَرَبَ الْخُدُودَ، وَشَقَّ الْجُيُوبَ، وَدَعَا بِدَعْوَى الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that "Alqamah said Ibn Mas'ood (رضي الله عنه) said:
Shall I not show you how The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prayed? Then he prayed, and he only raised his hands once.
