Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ (١) ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، وعَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " احْتَجَمَ، وَأَعْطَى الْحَجَّامَ أَجْرَهُ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنه) said:
When the Prophet (ﷺ) moved on from ‘Arafat, the people began to rush and the Prophet (ﷺ) instructed a caller to call out: "O people, it is not righteousness to make the horse or camel rush.” He said: And I did not see any mount lifting its feet and rushing.
