Translation

English translation

It was narrated that Ibn "Abbas (رضي الله عنه) said:

The name of Juwairiyah bint al-Harith was Barrah, and the Prophet (ﷺ) changed her name and called her Juwairiyah. The Prophet (ﷺ) passed by her when she was in her prayer-place, glorifying Allah and calling upon Him. He went out for some need, then he came back to her after the sun had risen high and said: "O Juwairiyah, are you still there?" She said: I am still here. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "I have said four words that I repeated three times, and they are better than what you have said: Glory be to Allah as much as the number of His creation, glory be to Allah as much as pleases Him, glory be to Allah as much as the weight of His Throne and glory be to Allah as much as the ink of His words, and praise be to Allah likewise.”
