حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا إِسْحَاقَ، يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ (١) عَنْ قَوْلِ الرَّجُلِ، بِإِصْبَعِهِ هَكَذَا - يَعْنِي فِي الصَّلَاةِ - قَالَ: " ذَاكَ الْإِخْلَاصُ "، وَقَالَ: ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: لَقَدْ " أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالسِّوَاكِ، حَتَّى ظَنَنَّا أَنَّهُ سَيُنْزَلُ عَلَيْهِ فِيهِ "، وَلَقَدْ " رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْجُدُ حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ إِبْطَيْهِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) set out in Ramadan to conquer Makkah. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) fasted until he reached Qudaid, then he called for a vessel of milk and drank it. Then his companions broke the fast until they reached Makkah.
