Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: " كَانَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُوتِرُ بِثَلاثٍ: بِسَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى، وَقُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ، وَقُلْ هُوَ اللهُ أَحَدٌ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) said concerning the verse,
"You (true believers in Islamic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and his Sunnah) are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind” [Al 'Imran 3:11]: [This refers to] those who migrated with Muhammad (ﷺ) to Madinah.
