حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ التَّيْمِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ يَعْنِي النَّهْدِيَّ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " الطَّاعُونُ شَهَادَةٌ، وَالْغَرَقُ شَهَادَةٌ، وَالْبَطْنُ شَهَادَةٌ، وَالنُّفَسَاءُ شَهَادَةٌ " (٤)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Safwan bin Umayyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Death due to plague, abdominal disease, drowning, or dying in the state of postnatal bleeding is also martyrdom.
