Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ: إِنَّ عُبَيْدَ بْنَ السَّبَّاقِ، يَزْعُمُ أَنَّ جُوَيْرِيَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِىِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا فَقَالَ: " هَلْ مِنْ طَعَامٍ؟ " قَالَتْ: لَا، وَاللهِ مَا عِنْدَنَا طَعَامٌ إِلَّا عَظْمًا (٤)، ، مِنْ شَاةٍ أُعْطِيَتْهَا مَوْلَاتِي مِنَ الصَّدَقَةِ، فَقَالَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " قَرِّبِيهِ فَقَدْ بَلَغَتْ مَحِلَّهَا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Umm Atiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) came to my house and asked: "Do you have anything?" I replied: No, except that Naseebah has sent us a portion of the same goat which you had sent to her. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "It has reached its destination, now bring it."
