English translation

Yusuf bin Mahak once went to Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her) and asked her about the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) entering Makkah on the day of the conquest of Makkah, and whether the Prophet (peace be upon him) had prayed at her place at that time. She said that the Prophet (peace be upon him) entered Makkah at the time of Duha (forenoon). I placed a bowl of water in which traces of flour were visible. Now I do not remember whether Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her) mentioned that he performed ablution or took a bath. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) prayed four rak‘ahs in the house’s mosque. Yusuf says that I also got up, performed ablution from her water-skin, and prayed four rak‘ahs at the same place.
