Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْمَرُ (٣) ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُبَارَكٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنِ خَالِدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ، مَوْلَى أَسْمَاءَ، يُحَدِّثُ، ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، تَقُولُ: " عِنْدِي لِلزُّبَيْرِ سَاعِدَانِ مِنْ دِيبَاجٍ، كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَعْطَاهُمَا إِيَّاهُ، يُقَاتِلُ فِيهِمَا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Asma that I have two sleeves of Zubair's shirt which are made of silk, which the Prophet (peace be upon him) had given him to wear at the time of battle.
