Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُقَيْلُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ (١) عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ إِذَا ثَرَدَتْ، غَطَّتْهُ شَيْئًا حَتَّى يَذْهَبَ فَوْرُهُ، ثُمَّ تَقُولُ: إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " إِنَّهُ أَعْظَمُ لِلْبَرَكَةِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Asma that when she prepared food, she would cover it for a while so that its heat would lessen, and she used to say that she heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say that this brings great blessing to the food.
