Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ مَوْلًى لِأَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، قَالَتْ: " كَانَ (٢) لِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جُبَّةٌ مِنْ طَيَالِسَةٍ لَبِنَتُهَا دِيبَاجٌ كِسْرَوَانِيٌّ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
Abdullah says that once Asma showed me a green robe which had strips of Kisrawani silk about a span wide. She informed me that this robe was worn by the Prophet (peace be upon him).
