English translation
It is narrated from Maymunah that once the Prophet (peace be upon him) passed by some people of the Quraysh who were dragging a goat like a donkey. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said to them, "If you had only taken off its skin (what harm would there have been)?" They replied, "This goat is dead." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Water and the leaves of the Salam tree (a tree similar to the acacia) purify it."
