حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا فَزَارَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْأَصَمِّ، عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ، زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَزَوَّجَهَا حَلَالًا، وَبَنَى بِهَا حَلَالًا، وَمَاتَتْ بِسَرِفَ، فَدَفَنَهَا فِي الظُّلَّةِ الَّتِي بَنَى بِهَا فِيهَا "، فَنَزَلْنَا فِي قَبْرِهَا، أَنَا وَابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
Yazid bin Asam says that the Prophet (peace be upon him) married Maymunah while she was not yet a mahram, and he was alone with her while she was still not a mahram. She passed away at a place called Saraf, and we buried her at the same place where the Prophet (peace be upon him) had been alone with her in a tent. I and Ibn Abbas descended into her grave.
