Ibrahim bin Abdullah says that a woman became very ill, and she made a vow that if Allah granted her recovery, she would travel to Bayt al-Maqdis and pray there. By Allah’s will, she was cured. She began preparations for the journey and went to bid farewell to Maymunah and informed her of her intention. She (Maymunah) said: Sit down and eat the food I have prepared, and pray in the Prophet’s Mosque, for I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say that one prayer in the Prophet’s Mosque is better than a thousand prayers in any other mosque except the Ka’bah.
