Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ (١) بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَتَوَضَّأُ فِي مِخْضَبٍ مِنْ صُفْرٍ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Zainab that she used to comb the hair of the Prophet (peace be upon him) while the Prophet (peace be upon him) was performing ablution in a brass tub.
