حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي، ، إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي (١) عَبْدِ اللهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ، قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، فَقَالَتْ لِي: أَيُسَبُّ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِيكُمْ؟ قُلْتُ: مَعَاذَ اللهِ، أَوْ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ، أَوْ كَلِمَةً نَحْوَهَا، قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " مَنْ سَبَّ عَلِيًّا، فَقَدْ سَبَّنِي " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
Abu Abdullah Jadali says that once I presented myself in the service of Umm Salamah, and she said to me, "Is the Prophet (peace be upon him) being spoken ill of in your presence?" I said, "God forbid! How can this be possible?" She said, "I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: Whoever speaks ill of Ali, speaks ill of me."
