حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا سَلَّامُ بْنُ أَبِي مُطِيعٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَوْهَبٍ، قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " فَأَرَتْنِي شَعْرًا مِنْ شَعْرِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَخْضُوبًا بِالْحِنَّاءِ وَالْكَتَمِ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

Usman bin Abdullah says that once we went to Umm Salama, and she showed us a hair of the Prophet (peace be upon him) which had turned red because it was dyed with henna and katam.
