حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَخْبَرَتْهُ " (٣) أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا فِي رَمَضَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ، ثُمَّ يَغْتَسِلُ، وَيَصُومُ " (٤)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Aisha that sometimes the Prophet (peace be upon him) would be in a state of major ritual impurity (janabah) in the morning, then he would perform ghusl (ritual bath) and complete the fast for the rest of the day.
