حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَلِيلِ، عَنْ سَفِينَةَ، مَوْلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ حُضِرَ، جَعَلَ يَقُولُ: " الصَّلَاةَ الصَّلَاةَ، وَمَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ ". فَجَعَلَ يَتَكَلَّمُ بِهَا، وَمَا يَكَادُ يَفِيضُ بِهَا لِسَانُهُ (٣)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the last advice of the Prophet (ﷺ) was to take care of the prayer and to treat your slaves well. While repeating this, the blessed chest of the Prophet (ﷺ) began to rattle and his tongue became still.
