حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأَزْوَاجِهِ: " إِنَّ الَّذِي يَحْنُو عَلَيْكُنَّ (٢) مِنْ بَعْدِي لَهُوَ الصَّادِقُ الْبَارُّ ". اللهُمَّ اسْقِ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ مِنْ سَلْسَبِيلِ الْجَنَّةِ (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying to his pure wives: "After me, whoever shows kindness to you will surely be a truthful and righteous person. O Allah, give Abdur Rahman bin Awf to drink from the water of Salsabeel in Paradise."
