حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ: دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ، فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ، فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، مَا هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةُ، مَا كُنْتَ تُصَلِّيهَا؟ قَالَ: " قَدِمَ وَفْدُ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ، فَحَبَسُونِي عَنْ رَكْعَتَيْنِ كُنْتُ أَرْكَعُهُمَا بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ " (١)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) came to me after the Asr prayer and performed two rak'ahs. I said, "O Messenger of Allah, before this you did not perform this prayer." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "In fact, the delegation of Banu Tamim had arrived, because of which the two rak'ahs that I usually perform after Zuhr were missed."
