حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، وَأَبُو كَامِلٍ، وَعَفَّانُ، قَالُوا: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ: عَفَّانُ، فِي حَدِيثِهِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَبِي مِجْلَزٍ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ، أَنَّ عُطَارِدَ بْنَ حَاجِبٍ، قَدِمَ مَعَهُ بِثَوْبِ (٥) دِيبَاجٍ كَسَاهُ إِيَّاهُ كِسْرَى فَقَالَ عُمَرُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لَوْ اشْتَرَيْتَهُ فَقَالَ: "، ، إِنَّمَا يَلْبَسُهُ مَنْ لَا خَلَاقَ لَهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Hafsa that once Atarid bin Hajib brought a silk garment which Kisra (the king of Iran) had given him to wear. Umar submitted, "O Messenger of Allah, if you bought it (it would be better)." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "This is the clothing worn by those who will have no share in the Hereafter."
