Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Hafsa that when the Prophet (peace be upon him) would come to his bed, he would lie down on his right side and then recite this supplication: "O Lord, save me from the punishment of the Day when You will gather Your servants." He would recite this supplication three times. And it was the practice of the Prophet (peace be upon him) to use his right hand for eating, drinking, performing ablution, wearing clothes, and giving and taking, and for other occasions he would use his left hand. And every month he would fast for three days: Monday, Thursday, and on Monday of the following week.
