حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ، عَنْ سَوَاءٍ الْخُزَاعِيِّ، عَنِ حَفْصَةَ، زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، كَانَ يَصُومُ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ (٢) : الِاثْنَيْنِ، وَالْخَمِيسَ، وَالِاثْنَيْنِ مِنَ الْجُمُعَةِ الْأُخْرَى " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Hafsa that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to fast three days every month: Monday, Thursday, and on Monday in the following week.
