حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي حَثْمَةَ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ، أَنَّ امْرَأَةً، مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ يُقَالُ لَهَا الشَّفَّاءُ كَانَتْ تَرْقِي مِنَ النَّمْلَةِ فَقَالَ لَهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " عَلِّمِيهَا حَفْصَةَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Hafsa that there was a woman among the Quraysh named Shifa who used to treat boils on the side with incantations. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said to her, "Teach this method to Hafsa as well."
