حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرَأَةٍ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ، وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ، أَنْ تُحِدَّ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ، إِلَّا عَلَى زَوْجِهَا " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: It is not permissible for a woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to mourn for anyone who dies for more than three days, except for her husband.
