Musnad Ahmad Hadith 26404

Abdullah says that all the remaining hadiths ahead I found written in my father's manuscript in his own handwriting. It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) never hit any servant or any wife, nor did he ever strike anyone with his own hand except when he was fighting in the way of Allah. If anyone showed disrespect towards the Prophet (ﷺ), he never took revenge on that person, but if the sanctities of Allah were violated, he would take revenge for the sake of Allah. And whenever two things were presented before the Prophet (ﷺ), and one of them was easier, the Prophet (ﷺ) would choose the easier one, unless it was a sin. If it was a sin, then the Prophet (ﷺ) would keep himself farther from it than anyone else.
