حَدَّثَنَا عَامِرُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: " مَا غِرْتُ عَلَى امْرَأَةٍ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا غِرْتُ عَلَى خَدِيجَةَ، وَذَلِكَ لِمَا (١) كُنْتُ أَسْمَعُ مِنْ ذِكْرِهِ إِيَّاهَا " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that I did not feel as much jealousy towards any woman as I felt towards Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her), and the reason for this jealousy was that I used to hear the Prophet (ﷺ) mention her frequently.
