Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ عُتَيْبَةَ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَبَحَ ثُمَّ حَلَقَ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
"There is no one among the sons of Adam who has not sinned or thought of sinning, except Yahya bin Zakariya. And no one should say: I am better than Yoonus bin Matta."
