حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يُشَاكُ شَوْكَةً، فَمَا فَوْقَهَا، إِلَّا رَفَعَهُ اللهُ بِهَا دَرَجَةً، وَحَطَّ عَنْهُ بِهَا خَطِيئَةً " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Whenever a Muslim is afflicted with a thorn prick or a calamity even less than that, Allah raises his rank by one degree and forgives one of his sins in exchange for it.
