Translation

English translation

Ibrahim says that I asked Aswad, "Did you ask Umm al-Mu'mineen, Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), about what the Prophet (ﷺ) disliked making nabidh in?" He said, "Yes! I asked her this question and she replied that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade (making nabidh in) dubba' and muzaffat." I asked about "safun," so she said, "I have narrated what I heard, and I have not narrated what I did not hear."
