Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) was sitting and eating food with his six companions (may Allah be pleased with them) when a Bedouin came and ate all the food in just two bites. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: If he had recited Bismillah, this food would have sufficed for all of you. Therefore, when any one of you eats food, he should recite Bismillah over it. If he forgets to recite Bismillah at the beginning, then upon remembering, he should say: BISMILLAHI FI AWWALIHI WA AKHIRIHI.
