حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْشَرٍ، عَنِ النَّخَعِيِّ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: " كَانَتْ يَدُ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْيُسْرَى لِخَلَائِهِ، وَمَا كَانَ مِنْ أَذًى، وَكَانَتِ الْيُمْنَى لِوُضُوئِهِ وَلِمَطْعَمِهِ " (٢)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Aisha that the right hand of the Prophet (peace be upon him) was for eating and for remembrance (of Allah), and the left hand was for other tasks.
