Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا شُجَاعُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، أَخِي يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " إِنَّ كَسْرَ عَظْمِ الْمُؤْمِنِ مَيْتًا مِثْلُ كَسْرِ عَظْمِهِ حَيًّا (٣) " (٤)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Breaking the bone of a deceased Muslim is like breaking the bone of a living person.
