حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ (١) بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْمَوْصِلِيُّ، عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، وَكَثِيرٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: " كَانَ يَرَاهُ فِي مِرْطِ إِحْدَانَا، ثُمَّ يَفْرُكُهُ، يَعْنِي الْمَاءَ، وَمُرُوطُهُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ الصُّوفُ. تَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that sometimes the Prophet (ﷺ) would see traces of semen on the garment of one of us, so he would scrape it off, and at that time their garments were made of wool.
