Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ، عَنْ، جَعْفَرِ بْنِ بُرْقَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ البَهِي، وَغَيْرِهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " اللهُمَّ ارْفُقْ بِمَنْ رَفَقَ بِأُمَّتِي، وَشُقَّ عَلَى مَنْ يَشُقُّ (٢) عَلَيْهَا " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: O Allah! Whoever is gentle with my Ummah, be gentle with him, and whoever is harsh with them, be harsh with him.
