Musnad Ahmad Hadith 26227

It is narrated from Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) was lying in my house when suddenly he got up startled and began to recite "Inna lillahi" (Indeed, to Allah we belong). I said, "May my parents be sacrificed for you, O Messenger of Allah! What is the matter that you are reciting 'Inna lillahi'?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "An army from my Ummah will come from the direction of Syria and will intend to seize a man at the Ka'bah. Allah will protect that man from this army, and when they reach near the place of Baida, close to Dhul-Hulaifah, all of them will be swallowed by the earth, and on the Day of Resurrection, they will be raised from different places." I said, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! How is it that all of them will be swallowed together but will be raised from different places?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said three times, "Some people in that army will have been included by force." The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain.
