حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ: " كَانَ أَكْثَرُ صَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ ثَقُلَ وَبَدَّنَ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the blessed body of the Prophet (ﷺ) became heavy, the Prophet (ﷺ) would mostly perform the prayer while sitting.
