حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: سُئِلْتُ مَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَعْمَلُ فِي بَيْتِهِ؟ قَالَتْ: " كَانَ بَشَرًا مِنَ الْبَشَرِ يَفْلِي ثَوْبَهُ، وَيَحْلُبُ شَاتَهُ، وَيَخْدُمُ نَفْسَهُ (١) " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
Someone asked Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) what the Prophet (ﷺ) used to do when he was at home. She replied that the Prophet (ﷺ) was also a human being; he used to clean his clothes, milk the goat, and do his own work with his own hands.
