Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ عَائِشَةَ، تَقُولُ: إِنَّمَا مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى يَهُودِيَّةٍ، ، يُبْكَى عَلَيْهَا، فَقَالَ: " إِنَّكُمْ لَتَبْكُونَ عَلَيْهَا وَإِنَّهَا، لَتُعَذَّبُ فِي قَبْرِهَا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said this regarding a Jewish woman: "These people are weeping over her, while she is being punished in the grave."
