حَدَّثَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ عَائِشَةَ مَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَصْنَعُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْرُجَ؟ قَالَتْ: " كَانَ يُصَلِّي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ، ثُمَّ يَخْرُجُ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ، فَإِذَا دَخَلَ تَسَوَّكَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) would enter his house at night, the first thing he would do was use the miswak, and when he would leave the house, the last thing he would do before leaving was to perform the two rak'ahs before Fajr.
