Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that we set out with the Prophet (ﷺ), and our intention was only to perform Hajj. I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Will your companions return with both Hajj and Umrah, and I will return with only Hajj?" Meanwhile, Safiyyah's "days" (menstruation) began. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "These women cut and shave (i.e., cause delay), you will force us to stay. Did you not perform the Tawaf al-Ziyarah on the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah?" She replied, "Why not." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Then there is no harm, now you may depart."
