حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي الرَّبِيعُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ حَبِيبٍ الْحَنَفِيَّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الرَّقَاشِيَّ، يَقُولُ: سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ فَأَخْرَجَتْ إِلَيَّ جَرَّةً مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْحِجَابِ فَقَالَتْ: " إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَكْرَهُ مَا يُصْنَعُ فِي هَذِهِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
Abu Saeed Raqashi (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I asked Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) about the Nabidh (fermented drink) of a pitcher, so she showed me a pitcher from behind the veil and said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade making pitchers like this and disliked it.
