حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، قَالَ: حَدَّثَتْنِي أُمُّ الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ: عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، وَهِيَ جَدَّةُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْعَتَكِيِّ، (١) عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ، قَالَتْ: سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ عَنِ الْحَائِضِ يُصِيبُ ثَوْبَهَا الدَّمُ؟ فَقَالَتْ: لَقَدْ كُنْتُ أَحِيضُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَلَاثَ حِيَضٍ جَمِيعًا، لَا أَغْسِلُ، ، لِي ثَوْبًا. وَقَالَتْ: " لَقَدْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي وَعَلَيَّ ثَوْبٌ، عَلَيْهِ بَعْضُهُ وَعَلَيَّ بَعْضُهُ، وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ نَائِمَةٌ قَرِيبًا مِنْهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Mu'adhah says that I asked Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) about a menstruating woman whose clothes get stained with menstrual blood. She replied that sometimes I would have three consecutive periods while with the Prophet (peace be upon him) and I would not be able to wash my clothes, and sometimes the Prophet (peace be upon him) would be praying and the garment that was on my body, a part of it would be on the Prophet (peace be upon him), and I would be sleeping near him in the state of menstruation.
