حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ (١) ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَتْنِي صَفِيَّةُ بِنْتُ شَيْبَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَغْتَسِلُ بِالصَّاعِ وَيَتَوَضَّأُ بِالْمُدِّ " (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) would perform ablution with about one mudd of water and would perform ghusl with about one sa’ of water.
